A motor control box is required to operate all Franklin 3-wire, single phase pumps

Be certain to match the horsepower and voltage to your current model which should be printed on the front cover

If you have a Franklin 3-wire motor (red, black, and yellow leads-and possibly a fourth green lead) and you are certain that it is single phase, be sure to match the horsepower and voltage which is printed on the motor

Every box comes with a new back plate but if your current one is in good shape, there is no reason to wire in the new one. The QD control boxes contain all of the circuitry in the front panel and can be changed in less than a minute.
